STINE—At his home, 416 West Washington avenue, May 3, 1925, Charles Stine, aged 32 years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5th, at 2 p.m. from Smith and Tuthill’s chapel, Sedgwick Post G.A.R. will conduct their service at the grave. Mr. Stine has resided in Santa Ana 42 years and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia Stine and one brother, A.H. Stine of Los Angeles.
REMLEY—At the family home on Tustin avenue, Mrs. Flora J. Remley, aged 35 years, private services were held this afternoon at 3 o’clock under the direction of Winbigler’s. Interment was made in Fairhaven cemetery. Mrs. Remly was the mother of Mrs. Mary Bailey, Miss Maud Remley, Otis Remley and Hugh Scott, all residents of this city.

RICHARDS—Glenn Richards, aged 18 years, met accidental death, Thursday, May 7th. Services will be held from the Winbigler Mission Funeral home, Monday, May 11th, at 2 p.m. with Rev. F.T. He is survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Richards, of 107 Court street, and one sister, Mrs. Clark Cooter of Lamar, Colorado.
KAMP—Raymond Kamp, aged 20 years, passed away as results of accident, May 7th. Services were held this afternoon, under the direction of the Winbigler Mission Funeral home, at the Methodist church at Glendora, at which city interment was made.

Betts officiating. Interment in Fairhaven cemetery. Mr. Beach leaves a son, J.M. Beach of 1013 Riverine avenue, and a daughter, Mrs. W.F. Lemon of Victoria, B.C. He had been a resident of Orange county for 52 years, having come to Orange in 1873.
HOEFER—At her home, 1717 Bush street, May 18, 1925, Mrs. Rosa M. Hoefer, aged 73 years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 2 p.m. from the German Evangelical church, corner 10th and Main streets, Smith and Tuthill in charge. Mrs. Hoefer is survived by the following children, Mrs. Mary Elkmeir of Pipestone, Minn., Wm. C. Hoefer of Santa Ana, Arthur Hoefer of Owensmouth, Calif., Mrs. Clara Andres, Mrs. Rosa C. Lutz and Mrs. Helen Stedman, all of Santa Ana.

RENWICK—Mrs. Maude Renwick, wife of J.S. Renwick, 407 Main street, Huntington Beach, passed away in her home yesterday. She was 41 years of age and had been ill for some time. Funeral services will be conducted from the Smith and Tuthill funeral chapel. Announcement as to time will be made later.

HAYES—In Santa Ana, May 23, 1925, Mrs. Zoe Hayes, aged 26 years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 26, at 2 o’clock from Winbigler’s Mission Funeral home, Rev. Porter of the First Christian church officiating. Interment in Fairhaven cemetery. Mrs. Hayes was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Sherman of 301 East First street and leaves two small daughters Elizabeth and Mary Lon Hayes.
MAJES—At El Modena, May 23, 1925, Joseph Majes, aged 65 years. Date of funeral will be announced later by Winbigler’s Funeral home.

Interment will be made in the Fairhaven cemetery. She was the sister of Mrs. George Cuddeback of San Gabriel and Mrs. Charles F. Watson of 127 South Cambridge street, Orange.

McMILLAN—At Tustin, May 27, 1925, Donald McMillan, aged 66 years. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29th at 3:45 p.m. from Smith and Tuthill’s chapel. Mr. McMillan is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha McMillan.
CAVANAUGH—Annie Cavanaugh, aged 85 years, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 1925, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.M. Craw, at Chino. She was the mother of A.L. Cavanaugh of Long Beach, J.E. Cavanaugh of this city and Mrs. C.M. Craw of Chino and had been a resident of this vicinity for some 45 years. Announcement of services will be made later by the Winbigler Mission Funeral home.
STEARNS—Lillie Richie Stearns, wife of W.M. Stearns, passed away at the age of 61 years at her home, 593 North Orange street, Orange, Wednesday, May 27, 1925. Services will be held from the Winbigler Mission Funeral home, Friday, May 29th at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Fairhaven cemetery. She is survived, besides her husband, by five sons, Roland, Charles and Glenn Stearns of Santa Ana, Edwin and Chester G. Stearns of Orange; by two daughters, Mrs. Frank Partridge of Santa Ana and Mrs. Hazel Stewart of Orange; and by three brothers, Frank Richie of Orange, the Rev. George Richie of Los Angeles and the Rev. Arthur Richie of Sacramento.

SHAFFER—David R.S. Shaffer, aged 87 years, passed away at his home at Westminster, Thursday, May 28, 1925. Services will be held from the Winbigler Mission Funeral home, Monday, June 1st at 2 p.m. with interment in the Los Alamitos cemetery. Services will be conducted by his comrades of the Sedgwick Post of the G.A.R. Mr. Shaffer is survived by his widow, Alice M. Shaffer of Los Angeles; one daughter, Mrs. Vesta D. Chappelle of Columbus, Ohio, also by Clyde Smith of Los Angeles and Will Robinson of Lankershim who had made their home with Mr. and Mrs. Shaffer since their childhood. Mr. Shaffer had been a resident of Westminster for 26 years and of California for some 35 years, and was well known in this section.
