CARMICHAEL—Mrs. Margaret R. Carmichael died at her home, 1609 West Fourth street at 6:30 o’clock this morning.  She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Celia L. Hart and son Dr. Clarence Rees of San Diego, a brother, E.J. Scoot, 915 South Flower street, and a niece, Miss Marjorie Fox, 916 West Fourth street.  Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery in Los Angeles.  Funeral announcement will be made later.

Lewis.  Funeral services will be held from Winbigler’s Mission Funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment in Fairhaven cemetery.  Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Francis Lewis Hall of Memphis, Tenn., also three brothers and two sisters, H.H. BREITENFELD—In Santa Ana, June 9, 1925, Henry G. Breitenfeld, aged 68 years, husband of Mrs. Hattie E. Breitenfeld.  Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from Winbigler’s Mission Funeral home.  Cremation followed in Los Angeles with I.O.O.F. services at crematory.

 

DAVIS—At the family home in Costa Mesa, June 10, 1925, Mrs. Martha J. Davis, aged 73 years.  The body will be forwarded to Salt Lake City by Winbigler’s Mission Funeral home where services will be held at a later date.  Mrs. Davis is survived by two sons and a daughter, O.R. Kaler, Costa Mesa, W.H. Kaler, Salt Lake City and Mrs. James A. Barker of Los Angeles.

 

JACKSON—In Santa Ana, June 9, 1925, Sophia M. Jackson, aged 61 years, sister of Mrs. W.A. Smith of 1719 Greenleaf.  Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. from  Smith and Tuthill’s chapel; Rev. W.L.H. Benton officiating.  Interment Fairhaven cemetery.

SCHROFF—Fidelis Schroff, 77 years old, died at the home of his son, Albert Schroff, 313 East Camille street last night.  He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Anna Uehlim of Los Angeles, Mrs. Clara Bruner, Miss Kate Schroff both of Santa Monica, Mrs. Lulu Scherer of Ojai and three sons, George, Albert, and Edward, all of Santa Ana.  Funeral services and burial will be in Santa Monica.
